Yesterday I was a guest at the Maastricht aan Zee for the project ‘We love Maastricht’ by Serve the City – a wonderful initiative to give children from different backgrounds between 9 and 12 years an unforgettable week full of cultural and artistic activities. Together with other volunteers, I could bake pancakes and help the children paint their faces and put make up on. I thought it was fantastic to hear the stories of the kids while they got their faces painted. I noticed that they enjoyed the loving attention. The smile of every child was something to be very happy with. Thanks to the organization and thanks to everyone who helped. It was incredibly beautiful! Krissie (23) loves Maastricht.
