Big Volunteer Day on the national even ‘NL-doet’
Serve the City organizes a Big Volunteer Day on Saturday, March 16. A day on which residents can help someone in their own city by signing up for a social project. A beauty salon for refugee women, sports & games with children, walking with elderly people, making a community garden together with vulnerable young people or playing volleyball with residents of the asylum seekers center.
Serve the City wants to connect the residents of Maastricht by helping each other.
Program
On Saturday 12 March, a team of volunteers will visit your organization. Together with the residents, clients or your colleagues, we will do a practical job from 10 AM to 1 PM. Wash the windows, assemble the chicken coop, trim the hedge that is too long, or any other job. Registration until March 11, 2024.
Locatie
Our team gathers at 09h15 at our office at The Social Hub in Maastricht. After a plenary start, the Serve the City project leader and his team will go to your organization by bike.
