Looking for a fun and creative way to meet new people in Maastricht? Join us on Thursday, September 10, from 5:30 to 9:00 PM for De Groete Bouw!

Together with a group of people from Maastricht and beyond, we’ll help build a life-size cardboard version of the former Cité Ouvrière, popularly known as the Groete Bouw. This 19th-century building was a housing complex for workers of the Sphinx factory and is an important part of Maastricht’s history.

Artist Olivier Grossetête is bringing this lost piece of Maastricht back to life – temporarily, and not with machines or cranes, but with cardboard, tape and, above all, the power of collaboration. This creative workshop is a great opportunity to meet new people, connect with others and experience something special together.

🤝 A project leader from Serve the City will be there to welcome you, show you where to go and help you get started. So don’t worry if it’s your first time – you’ll be warmly welcomed!
