A tribute to tradition, humanity, and beauty – Jimmy Nelson in Maastricht
On September 14th we’ll go as a group to the Fotomuseum aan het Vrijthof for the impressive exhibition Between the Sea and the Sky by world-renowned photographer Jimmy Nelson.
Together, we’ll admire 65 breathtaking photos and videos of twenty Dutch communities in traditional dress, captured in picturesque landscapes with a level of detail reminiscent of the Dutch Masters.
It will be an inspiring afternoon filled with stunning images, stories, and good company. Join us and be enchanted by this tribute to culture and connection!
📍 Meeting point: At the museum entrance (Vrijthof 18, Maastricht)
🎟 Tickets: Please purchase your own ticket at the entrance.
Schedule:
- 2:00 PM – Meet at the entrance
- 2:15 PM – Visit the exhibition
- 4:00 PM – Drinks and a chat (optional)
Afterwards, those who’d like to can join us for a drink and a good conversation at a nearby spot. A few days beforehand, you’ll receive an email reminder with the name and phone number of the Serve the City team contact person who will be there.
