In the dark days before Christmas, MVV Maastricht comes together for something special on Sunday, 14th of December: Saturnalia, a winter event for all residents of Maastricht. A day that goes far beyond football – it’s about community, togetherness, and creating a place where people of all ages and backgrounds can meet.
The grounds of Stadium De Geusselt transform into a cosy Christmas market filled with music, stalls, games and social initiatives. It’s a place where generations connect, where new memories are created, and where the spirit of Maastricht’s warmth is felt in everything we do.
Would you like to help make this special day possible? We are looking for enthusiastic volunteers who can support us for one afternoon. You’ll help guide activities, support visitors and contribute to the open, welcoming atmosphere that makes Saturnalia unique.
