After nearly a hundred years of limestone quarrying, new nature is emerging in the ENCI quarry. Would you like to spend a day outdoors helping to develop this unique nature reserve? Then join us for the Nature Work Day!
The rangers will meet you on Saturday, March 14th, at Châlet d’n Observant in Maastricht. Together, you’ll walk into the quarry – a special place accessible only under supervision. After a brief explanation, you’ll help the rangers with various tasks. There will be plenty of opportunity to ask all your questions about this unique area.
Please note: This project is organized by Natuurmonumenten. Serve the City only supports the recruitment of volunteers and will not be present.
Two days before the project, you will receive the latest practical information and details about the location and activities from Natuurmonumenten.
