On Saturday, September 26, we celebrate National Neighbours’ Day! 🏡 A wonderful opportunity to spend time together, have fun and get to know people in the neighbourhood.
During this Big Volunteer Day, we will decorate cookies together with the residents of Woonvorm Scharn and hand them out in the neighbourhood. 🍪 We will also create cheerful cards with drawings and personal messages. 💌🎨
And you don’t need any special skills to make a difference! 😊 A little time, attention and an open attitude are more than enough.
We’ll laugh together, get creative, decorate cookies and have meaningful conversations. It will be a fun afternoon where we can meet one another and make a positive difference together.
🗣️ For this project, it is helpful if you have a reasonable command of Dutch, as we will be spending time with the residents and communicating with them throughout the activity.
