On September 26, MAAKLAB Maastricht is celebrating its birthday with MAAKFEST! A creative festival where young makers come together to experiment, connect, and bring their ideas to life. Expect creative workshops, a cool art exhibition by ARTivisme, and of course lots of good vibes! ✨
Serve the City is joining this celebration as part of our Big Volunteer Day, bringing a team of volunteers to support MAAKLAB during the festival! Together, we’ll help make MAAKFEST an amazing day 💙
🙌 Sounds like something for you?
As a volunteer, you’ll be given a social role at the festival. You might help with hosting, welcoming visitors, or other tasks that help everything run smoothly.
And here’s the fun part: you can switch positions halfway through your shift! This keeps things varied, lets you meet different people, and gives you the chance to experience MAAKFEST from different sides 🎨
🕐 Volunteer programme
13:00 – Meet up
13:00–13:30 – The MAAKFEST organiser, will guide you to your assigned position and explain your tasks
13:30 – Everyone is ready to go! 🚀
17:00 – Your shift ends (with a break, drink & snack along the way, of course ☕🍪)
