An afternoon full of stories, connection, and the warm atmosphere of Maastricht – would you like to join us?
From Scharwyerveld Care Centre, we will take a pleasant walk together with the residents towards Oud Caberg. Along the way, we will visit two characteristic farms, where stories will be shared about the history of these special places 🏡
For the seniors, an afternoon like this means much more than just a walk. It is about being outdoors together, receiving attention, sharing memories, and enjoying the small moments along the way.
Afterwards, the group will return to the care centre for coffee, tea, and of course traditional Limburg pie ☕🍰 While everyone enjoys chatting together, one of the residents will add a special touch with old Maastricht music played from his own record player 🎵
To ensure everything runs smoothly and safely, all volunteers will receive a short introduction beforehand about supporting residents and using wheelchairs ♿

🚶♂️ 1:30 PM – 3:00 PM – Walk to Oud Caberg
☕🎶 Afterwards: coffee, tea, Limburg pie, and music at the care centre
