This winter, NOAH invites you to step into something special at Marres, House for Contemporary Culture<\/strong>. Together we\u2019ll visit Porous Grounds, Sacred Codes<\/em><\/strong> -a large-scale immersive exhibition that transforms the entire Marres house into a place of encounter, memory and imagination.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Created in close collaboration with the renowned Senegalese art institute RAW Material Company (Dakar)<\/strong>, this project brings together artists, curators and thinkers across continents to explore collectivity, diaspora and cultural identity<\/strong> – not as abstract ideas, but as something you can feel, hear and move through.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

What we\u2019ll experience<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

A group of artists with roots in West Africa has built a sensory world<\/strong> using sculpture, sound, textiles, video and performance. Rather than separate artworks, you\u2019ll walk through a shared universe<\/strong> – one that reveals how different voices, histories and perspectives can coexist and shape something new together.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Moving through this space together adds another layer: moments to exchange impressions, notice what others notice, and let the experience deepen through conversation, silence and shared curiosity. Our visit will be guided by the Marres team<\/strong>, offering behind-the-scenes stories and deeper insights into the works and their collective process.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
