We are looking for enthusiastic volunteers to help accompany seniors, most of whom use a wheelchair.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Spending time outdoors, enjoying a chat and taking in the surroundings means so much to the residents. The walking routes are short and take place around the care centre. Along the way, there will be a fun puzzle, and afterwards we will end the afternoon with drinks, snacks and music.\u00a0\ud83c\udfb5\u00a0Each day also has its own theme (Italian, German, Spanish or Maastricht), creating a festive atmosphere throughout the care centre.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Programme (approximate)<\/strong><br>\ud83d\udd50&nbsp;1:00 pm \u2013 Volunteers and residents gather in the Atrium<br>\ud83d\udeb6&nbsp;1:30 pm \u2013 3:15 pm \u2013 Walk around the neighbourhood with a short break<br>\u2615&nbsp;3:15 pm&nbsp;\u2013&nbsp;4:00 pm&nbsp;\u2013&nbsp;Drinks, snacks and music together<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Before the event, all volunteers will receive a short introduction on how to assist residents and safely handle wheelchairs. No previous experience is required.&nbsp;\ud83d\ude0a<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>\u26a0\ufe0f\u00a0Please note:\u00a0Volunteers register\u00a0for individual days only.
